APPRENTICE ARTIST | Finger Lakes Opera

In July, Sofia joins Finger Lakes Opera in Rochester, NY as one of their 2025 Apprentice Artists. She was selected from over 500 applicants to be one of six Apprentice Artists this summer. During her time with FLO, she will perform in multiple outreach concerts and in The Anonymous Lover.

BARBARINA | Le Nozze di Figaro
​Vienna Opera Academy

Sofia makes her role debut as Barbarina in Mozart's Le Nozze di Figaro with Vienna Opera Academy this August. The Vienna Opera Academy is a student training program connected to the Vienna Opera Festival in Vienna, Austria. Performances will occur at iconic Viennese venues including the Ballsaal Grand Hotel and the Mozarthaus.

"This sparkling comedy follows Figaro and Susanna on their wedding day, as they navigate the schemes of their employer, Count Almaviva, who is trying to seduce Susanna. With clever disguises, mistaken identities, and witty twists, love and justice triumph in the end. A delightful whirlwind of humor, heart, and humanity."
